Visit three, day three to five. First lymphatic treatment and a garment check, roughly 45 minutes. This is the visit patients want to skip and the one that protects the result.
Visit four, week three. Contour check and a second lymphatic session if the tissue calls for it. The fat-removal result is showing by now.
Then month three, month six, and month twelve. Several of the later checks are visual, and those can often be handled by photo review instead of a drive.
The Post-Weight-Loss Neck Needs A Different Plan
If the weight came off and the neck got worse, that is a different problem from a genetic double chin and it needs a different sequence.
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons measured weight-loss medication prescribing among its member surgeons for the first time in its 2024 report, counting more than 800,000 aesthetic patients on these medications in a single year. Of that group, 20 percent had already had a procedure, 39 percent were weighing a surgical one, and 41 percent were considering nonsurgical options. Rapid weight loss thins the face and neck faster than skin can retract. Volume drops, laxity shows, and the jawline that was supposed to appear never does. Removing more fat from an already-thinned area is the wrong move. The plan leads with tightening at layer three, and sometimes adds a little projection at the frame for balance.

The real risks are worth stating plainly. Bruising, swelling and tightness for the first stretch. Numbness under the chin, common and usually temporary.
