Over the last 12 months Dr. Grandhige performed 118 neck and jawline contouring cases, and the pattern inside that number answers most of what patients ask.

Where The Procedure Happens, And Who Is In The Room
Your neck liposuction happens in Formation’s South Howard Avenue office under local anesthesia with an oral sedative, in line with Florida’s office surgery standards. No general anesthesia, no hospital, home the same day.
Florida regulates office-based surgery through the Florida Board of Medicine, which sets registration and standards for procedures performed under sedation outside a hospital. Ask any practice you are considering which setting your procedure happens in and at what level of anesthesia, because that answer changes the risk profile more than anything on a brochure.

Start to finish the procedure takes about one to two hours, and you are awake for all of it.
