The FDA issued a safety communication in October 2025 about RF microneedling risks including burns, fat loss, and nerve damage from improper use. You can slow them down significantly, but not stop them completely. Daily broad-spectrum sunscreen, not smoking, sleeping on your back, and eating enough protein all reduce the rate of collagen loss. Sunscreen alone has the biggest effect over a lifetime.
