FaceTite In Palma Ceia, FL

FaceTite, a radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis device, tightens loose skin under your jaw and down your neck by heating the tissue just beneath it. At Formation, it’s the tightening step of a neck procedure.

How FaceTite Works

FaceTite works from the inside out. A thin cannula carries radiofrequency energy under the skin while an electrode on the surface moves with it, and the heat passes between the two. That heat reaches the fibroseptal network, the web of connective tissue that ties your skin to the muscle below. When that web contracts, the skin above it pulls in closer to the jaw and neck.

Depth is the difference that matters. Lasers and microneedling work from the surface down, and they can’t reach that connective tissue foundation. FaceTite starts there. Collagen remodeling keeps going for months after the heat is gone, which is why tightening keeps building long after the first few weeks.

Renuvion, a helium plasma device, is the other energy tool Dr. Grandhige uses at this step. Your consultation settles which one fits your neck.

FaceTite runs on InMode’s RF System, which holds FDA 510(k) clearance for procedures that need coagulation or contraction of soft tissue. Cleared isn’t the same as FDA-approved, and it isn’t a rating of cosmetic results. The same filing describes a system that monitors tissue temperature and impedance and adjusts its energy as it works.

The Four-Layer Neck Read

Most necks show aging in more than one layer at once. Dr. Grandhige reads each layer on its own, and each one names its own fix. FaceTite belongs to layer three, so the read tells you whether it’s the right tool or only one part of your plan.

Layer One: Fat

A pad of fat under the chin blurs the jaw from below, even on people who are lean everywhere else. It’s mostly genetic, and dieting rarely moves it. The fix is neck liposuction, done through the same small incisions in the same visit. Dr. Grandhige removes fat with restraint, because taking too much leaves irregularities and makes a neck age faster.

One Formation patient, a fit professional in his 40s, had disliked how his neck looked in photos for as long as he could remember. His problem was mostly fat. Dr. Grandhige contoured the jawline with liposuction, kept the natural angles, and held back on tightening. Colleagues began telling him he looked rested, and he started getting in pictures.

Layer Two: Platysma Muscle And Platysmal Bands

The vertical cords that show down the front of some necks are platysmal bands, the edges of a thin sheet of muscle. FaceTite doesn’t correct them. Where bands are present, the fix is MyEllevate, a permanent suspension suture, paired with platysmaplasty to tighten the muscle itself.

Layer Three: Skin And The Fibroseptal Network

This is FaceTite’s layer. Skin that has lost some snap, along with the connective tissue beneath it, is what energy tightening can still pull in. It works best inside an elasticity window of roughly skin age 25 to 55. Dr. Grandhige judges skin age at your consultation, and it doesn’t always match the year on your license.

Layer Four: Chin Projection And Jaw Angle

Some jawlines are soft because the frame underneath is small. A chin that sits behind your lower lip, or a jaw angle that fades into the neck, won’t sharpen with tightening alone. That layer calls for structure placed along the bone, such as Radiesse, a calcium hydroxylapatite, or Juvederm, a hyaluronic acid.

When FaceTite Isn’t The Answer

FaceTite can’t fix every neck, and Dr. Grandhige would rather say so at the start than sell you the wrong procedure. Sometimes the right call is a different procedure. Sometimes it’s waiting.

Skin that hangs in folds at rest has moved past what tightening can reach. It needs skin removed, which means a lift. Formation stays in contact with surgeons who do that work well and points you to the right one.

Major weight loss raises the same question, including weight lost on a GLP-1 medication. Skin that still springs back can tighten. Skin that doesn’t needs a different plan, and Dr. Grandhige may suggest letting your weight settle before you decide anything.

Timing is the other honest limit. Tightening shows at about three months and finishes at six to nine, so FaceTite won’t rescue an event that’s a few weeks away.

Which one had surgery 1 or 2? 👀High-definition liposuction goes beyond traditional fat removal. Instead of simply reducing fat evenly, the surgeon strategically removes fat around the underlying muscles to make their natural contours more visible. But here’s what makes it interesting: HD lipo doesn’t create the same six-pack on everyone. There’s a story behind every decision.Cosmetic surgery is a personal decision. Yet people who choose it often find themselves having to explain or defend that choice to others. Some want to restore changes after pregnancy or weight loss. Others have worked hard to get in shape but still have areas they’d like to improve. And some simply want to feel more comfortable with their appearance. The reasons are different for everyone. And they don’t have to make sense to anyone else.At Formation, Dr. Gopal believes the decision to pursue cosmetic surgery should be guided by a patient’s personal goals, realistic expectations, and what’s medically appropriate for them.Because ultimately, the person making that decision is the one who will live with it.#Tampa #CosmeticSurgery #BodyContouring #Liposuction

What weight loss can’t fix. After losing over 100 pounds, this patient had achieved significant weight loss, but was left with excess skin around his abdomen and back that weight loss alone couldn’t address.During an 8-hour surgery, Dr. Gopal performed a circumferential body lift, a procedure that removes excess skin around the entire midsection to improve body contour. In this video, Dr. Gopal walks through the procedure, explaining how he removed approximately 3 pounds of skin from the back and estimated another 4–5 pounds would be removed from the abdomen. He’s also using a small amount of fat collected during the procedure to add volume to the upper chest, improving its contour without performing a separate chest lift. For patients who have experienced major weight loss, body contouring can help address the excess skin that remains after the weight is gone.Considering surgery after weight loss? Your fat is liquid gold. The fat you don’t want might be exactly what another part of your body needs.During liposuction, the fat we remove doesn’t always have to be discarded. In fact, Dr. Gopal refers to it as “liquid gold.”Why? Because that fat can sometimes be transferred to another area of the body to add volume, enhance natural contours, and create a more balanced shape. For women, that might mean adding volume to the breasts, hips, or buttocks. For men, fat transfer can help enhance the chest or shoulders. And because we’re using your own fat, we can potentially improve two areas during the same surgery.Of course, fat transfer isn’t right for everyone. It’s something Dr. Gopal discusses with patients beforehand and incorporates into the surgical plan when appropriate.Considering liposuction in Tampa? A flatter stomach without a tummy tuck? 👀Pregnancy, and sometimes increased pressure from fat deep inside the abdomen, can cause the abdominal muscles to separate down the middle. This is called diastasis recti, and it can make your belly stick out even if you’re otherwise lean.Traditionally, repairing that separation often meant undergoing a tummy tuck. But what if you don’t have much loose skin to remove? For the right patient, Dr. Gopal can use robotic-assisted surgery to bring those separated muscles back together through three small incisions, without the long scar associated with a traditional tummy tuck. That’s exactly what he did for the patient in these before-and-after photos. No tummy tuck. No additional procedures.**But this approach isn’t for everyone.** If you have significant loose skin or excess fat, a different treatment may be more appropriate. That’s why understanding what’s causing your belly to protrude matters before deciding on surgery.Curious whether you’re a candidate? Why does fluid sometimes collect after surgery? After certain surgical procedures, fluid can accumulate beneath the skin, forming what’s called a seroma. In this video, Dr. Gopal demonstrates how he drains a seroma in a patient recovering from diastasis recti repair. This is one of the reasons postoperative follow-up matters. It allows Dr. Gopal to monitor healing, identify any issues, and address them when necessary.Considering surgery? The fat is gone. But what takes its place? When fat is removed during liposuction, it leaves behind space beneath the skin. As the body heals, fluid can sometimes collect in that space, creating what’s called a seroma. And here’s why that matters. If fluid continues to collect, it can potentially affect the final contour. That’s why Dr. Gopal pays close attention to fluid buildup during recovery. His approach is to identify seromas early and address them quickly.Considering liposuction in Tampa? What Happens On Procedure Day

FaceTite is done in Formation’s office, not a hospital. You take an oral sedative to stay relaxed, and local anesthesia numbs your neck. Plan on a ride home afterward.

Dr. Grandhige works through very small incisions under the chin and behind the ears. He removes fat first, keeping your natural jaw angles, then passes FaceTite under the skin to tighten it over the muscle and bone. His own physician assistant, who assists on all of his surgeries, works beside him. Before anything starts, the team runs a time-out to verify you and your plan. You leave in a chin compression garment.

Your Consultation And Virtual Evaluation

Your plan starts with a full surgical assessment. The in-office consultation with Dr. Grandhige carries a fee, and that fee can be applied toward any procedure or product at Formation. He asks what bothers you and why, how you train, what you’ve already tried and what result would feel like a success. Then he examines all four layers and tells you what will help and what won’t. Some patients leave with a plan for later instead of a date on the calendar.

If you’d like a read before you come in, patient coordinator Hanna offers a complimentary virtual evaluation. She goes over your goals and outlines a plan before you decide on the in-office visit.

Your Recovery Timeline

FaceTite recovery runs on a set schedule, so you’ll know what’s normal at each stage.

The first few days. Expect mild swelling and bruising, plus a tight feeling under the jaw. The chin garment stays on.

One week. Most people return to work and social plans, and training resumes at the same point. Wear the garment 12 to 24 hours a day through this first week.

Two to four weeks. Swelling keeps settling, and the fat removal becomes visible.

Three months. Tightening shows, and the jawline looks clearly sharper.

Six to nine months. The final result appears as the skin finishes tightening.

Dr. Grandhige follows patients for a full year, and nearly all of them stay through it. That’s the 60/40 Recovery Standard at work. The procedure is about 60 percent of your result, and aftercare is the other 40. Poor aftercare can undo a well-done procedure, so Formation manages recovery instead of leaving it to chance. You can see how neck results look at different stages in our before-and-after gallery.

How Formation Prepares You

Your health and diet are assessed before treatment. In the window just before and after FaceTite, nutrition, supplements and peptides are adjusted so your body builds the most structure it can while the tissue heals. Guidance covers inflammation, protein intake, lymphatic flow and healing, and the nutrition and coaching providers you’re referred to are ones Dr. Grandhige has vetted himself.

This comes from the practice philosophy behind every Formation plan: the procedure is one part of a longer process. Dr. Grandhige’s standard is a result that looks inevitable rather than engineered. The FaceTite handpiece is identical at every practice that owns one. The thinking around it is not.

Who Performs Your FaceTite

Dr. Gopal Grandhige personally evaluates every patient and performs the procedure himself. He’s a board-certified general surgeon, certified by the American Board of Surgery, who specializes in aesthetic surgery. He earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School and completed a general surgery residency, followed by fellowship training in burn surgery, critical care, and minimally invasive metabolic and foregut surgery.

He’s been operating for more than 15 years and has performed several thousand procedures. Neck and jawline contouring is one of the areas he’s best known for, along with male aesthetics. He limits how many procedures he takes on so he can stay involved from your first visit through your last follow-up.

Frequently Asked Questions About FaceTite In Palma Ceia

It’s a minimally invasive procedure done through small incisions under the chin and behind the ears. You’re in Formation’s office with an oral sedative and local anesthesia. It isn’t a facelift, and no skin is removed.

The fat removal shows at two to four weeks. Tightening becomes visible around three months, and the final result appears at six to nine months as the skin finishes contracting.

They’re long-lasting. Your neck keeps aging naturally, but removing excess fat from this area can reset the aging clock and slow future laxity when it’s done with restraint.

Most people return to work and to training at one week. Wear the chin garment 12 to 24 hours a day during that first week.

FaceTite fits skin that still springs back, roughly skin age 25 to 55. If your skin hangs in folds at rest, it needs a lift, and Formation will point you to a surgeon who does that work well.

No. Vertical cords are platysmal bands, layer two of the Four-Layer Neck Read. They call for MyEllevate with platysmaplasty, which tightens the muscle FaceTite can’t reach.

The procedure is the same, but the goal isn’t. Dr. Grandhige treats male aesthetics as its own discipline, because a small error can soften a masculine jaw instead of sharpening it. Our page on FaceTite for men goes further.

Look up the surgeon’s medical license through the Florida Board of Medicine, and confirm board certification with the certifying board itself. For Dr. Grandhige, that’s the American Board of Surgery. Then ask how recovery is managed and who handles your follow-up.
